Challenge:
A pharma company needed to streamline the process of translating inbound communications from customers in five languages into English for internal processing. They also needed support translating high-quality English responses back into the five languages for outbound communications.
Solution:
To support these complex requirements, we set up two workflows using GlobalLink Now machine translation engines that are specialized for the pharma industry. We used pure (raw) machine translation to quickly translate inbound communications and machine translation with human post-editing to translate outbound communications back to customers.
Results:
Through the combination of these services, we reduced turnaround time by 75% for inbound communications and 30% for outbound communications, significantly streamlining the company’s operations.
